MATO TOTH

è nato il primo gennaio del 1954 nel villagio di Repaš, oltre il fiume Drava . Ha incominciato a dipingere su vetro a 15 anni. Espone per la prima volta alla mostra collettiva dei pittori del "Circolo di Molve" nel 1972. Dopo questa mostra seguono numerose mostre in Croazia ed all' estero. Oggi vive e lavora a Koprivnica. Mato Toth dipinge con un colorito gracile, le figure con sfumatore pastello e tutto si perde oppure sorge dalla nebbiolina, e quest' atmosfera è presente nella maggior parte delle sue opere.

He exhibited for the first time in the group exhibition of artists of the "Circle of Ling"in 1972. After this exhibition follow many exhibitions in Croatia and all 'foreign. Today he lives and works in Koprivnica. Mato Toth paints with a delicate complexion, figures with pastel nuances and everything is lost, or stands in the fog, and this' atmosphere is present in most of his works.
