NIKOLA VECENAJ LEPORTINOV

è nato il 2 dicembre del 1935 a Gotalovco in Podravina. E' stato operaio trattorista, dipinge dal 1965. Ha fatto la sua prima mostra pubblica nel 1966 a Virje, e la prima mostra individuale nel 1971 a Koprivnica. La sua pittura " I servitori alla festa di S.Giorgio" è stata accolta alla mostra internazionale "Naiva 73" a Zagabria e ha destato grande interesse del pubblico e degli esperti. Già nel 1974 Nikola si fa largo e comincia a esporre le opere all'estero: in Germania, in Francia, in Svizzera, in Italia e nel Belgio. Nella sua pittura sono presenti tre temi fondamentali: la vita, la filosofia e la religione.
